We are home. We are happy.
We are out. We are happy.
Or we are home and we are miserable.
Or (and this is the hitter) we aren’t home and we’re still miserable.

We are home. We are happy.
We are out. We are happy.
Or we are home and we are miserable.
Or (and this is the hitter) we aren’t home and we’re still miserable.
This is a great point that more people should think about. I myself went on a backpacking trip in my twenties, thinking it’d solve my life’s problems, but I only learned that I was only carrying my problems with me.
When a person is right, their world will be right. That’s a great quote I live by. Anyway, thanks for this post!

Hey Stuart! Appreciate you taking the time to read, ponder, and reply to this post. I can relate so much to your backpacking trip – my experience was a cross country road trip from PA to Cali. I got to the Golden Gate Bridge and realized I still had unhappy emotions even though I got away from what I thought was making me unhappy. Such a big eye opener to be where your feet are and focus on the good.
When a person is right, their world will be right. That’s so good. Reminds me of another quote: Your outer world reflects your inner world.
We are the source of our own joy. Many blessings to you Stuart!
