Book Recommendations

Why read books? Because they help us progress in life.

They push us, motivate us, and inspire us to do more in a better way.

They expand our world view and introduce us to others who have lived through struggles and went on to achieve the impossible.

Books teach us new life skills that help us navigate life, drastically improving our lives, no matter how old we are, our background, or our environment.

Below is a mix of my favorite non fiction, self improvement, & spiritual books. Each one has brought tremendous growth into my life. I often go back to my favorites and reread them to go a lil deeper.

Find the lessons and apply them to your own life. Happy reading 🙂

Personal Growth

Ever hear something and it just clicks? Somehow this new piece of information inspires you in some way to make a change or see things differently.

Some people call it a break through, golden nugget, ah-ha, personal growth.

You gained a new perceptive, and can now use that new perceptive to make future decisions.

Constant Adjustment

Anyone can grow as an individual, all it takes is constant adjustment.

Because what works today may not work tomorrow.

The plan you wrote up yesterday may not even make sense today.

What’s important is putting yourself and your growth first…

Remember: your life situation doesn’t have to be perfect in order for you to get better.

You can start today wherever and however you find yourself.

A little bit everyday adds up. Where are you now, where do you want to be, how are you going to bridge the gap, adjust your actions and reactions along the way.

Tend Your Four Areas

You can grow physically, yes…

You can also grow mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Being healthy and well rounded is important…

Because balanced energy is vital to long-term health.

Tend your four areas: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.

Each area needs proper attention to keep you thriving.

Commit to a Change

If you feel you are lacking in any area, take some time to learn a golden nugget or two that you can apply to life right away.

A little goes a long way overtime, and you’ll feel rebalanced in no time.

Before leaving this blog, commit to one thing that you are going to do regularly to ensure you are growing.

Continue to improve yourself and your life will improve naturally.

Some regular goals of mine to ensure I am constantly growing:

  • Read 10 pages of a self-improvement book a day
  • Listen to audible / self-improvement podcasts during car rides
  • Follow positive social pages, unfollow negative ones
  • Daily, weekly, monthly reflections
  • Set, plan, and review goals
  • Personalize the journey: incorporate more of what works for me

Happy growing!
