Manifest Your Goals with Positive Emotions

If you’re like me, you are in constant work with your thoughts, feelings, and emotions.

You’re trying to live a healthier, happier life by working on thinking better and feeling better.

We know that when we think and feel good, we attract more goodness.

And luckily for us, how to think and feel good isn’t a secret!

There are books like The Power of Positive Thinking, Think & Grow Rich, and The Power of Now that help us think and feel better.

This blog documents some of my thoughts on how we can use positive emotions to manifest our goals. So without further ado, let’s get to it!

Vibrations

Everything that exists in the universe is made up of small vibrating molecules.

There is a whole range of different frequencies too – just like you tune-in into a specific radio station, you can tune-in into a specific vibration, aka a vibe.

Tune Your Vibrations

You can tune into a specific vibe by feeling a specific combo of emotions.

For example, you’re hitting the gym or work soon. To get on some positive work vibes, we’re feeling a combo of desire, enthusiasm, and faith. To get on some negative work vibes, we’re feeling a combo of anger, fear, greed.

The vibe we’re on dictates how we experience life.

Positive and negative emotions can not occupy the mind at the same time. One will always dominate over the other. And it’s our responsibility to make it a habit to apply and use the positive emotions.

Eventually the positive emotions will dominate your mind so completely that the negative emotions can no longer enter it.

The Seven Major Positive Emotions

The emotion of DESIRE

The emotion of FAITH

The emotion of LOVE

The emotion of SEX

The emotion of ENTHUSIASM

The emotion of ROMANCE

The emotion of HOPE

As you go through this list of the seven major positive emotions – take a moment to feel each emotion.

Think of memories that bring out each emotion in you. Do you notice how each of these emotions feel slightly different?

As we get in tune with positive emotions in our inner world, we begin to attract positive experiences in our outer world.

In this way, we can use positive emotions to fuel our goals.

The positive emotions help us change our attitudes, which in turn changes what we do & how we do it.

Positive emotions have the power to change our life for the better.

Have a great week friends! I’m here if you need me ♡

Hospitality

I recently applied for a lead hostess job on Indeed, and they asked for my thoughts on what hospitality means to me. This was my response. I wanted to share because I feel it’s important to remember that attitudes and the way we do life is contagious. How’re you operating? Do people walk away from you or your business feeling happier and more fulfilled? If not, a genuine boost in hospitality could do the trick.

“Hospitality is overdelivering on the customer experience.

A hospitable worker is warm, proactive, and genuine in their approach to the customer.

The worker treats the customer like family and will always think ahead and deliver on customer needs, ideally before the customer realizes they need it.

Using drink refills as an example, I have a simple rule: Never let a customer get to an empty glass.

When you see their drink has half to a quarter left…

Automatically bring out more water if water is what they’re drinking.

Or ask if they’d like a new drink if it’s paid refill.

When the customer stops ordering alcohol, bring out water.

Think ahead. How would you like to be treated when you are in that position? I know I hate a dry mouth, and I’ve never complained about having too much water while I’m out to eat.

Where else can we overdeliver on the customer experience?”

Ps – I’d like to note that the restaurant I applied to reached out two days later inviting me to a sit down with management! Boom!

The discipline of perception

The discipline of perception: the way we see it.

Perception is how our mind sees the world around us – situations, people, our own behavior… in other words, it all comes down to what our interpretation is of a particular thing.

So let’s think about that for a second… is it not true that we can change what goes on in our life by changing our thoughts of it?

For example, I cheated on my diet and ate food after 8pm… one way I could see it is that I am a total failure and will never be able to commit fully to anything… another could be that some slack here and there isn’t a bad thing… and another could be that I am grateful to realize my mistake and will make sure that I am better with my time management tomorrow.

See how drastically different these viewpoints are? How words can really affect how we see the situation? How it could make us feel about ourselves in the short and long term?

There really is no good or bad, because if we can find the strength to train our minds to see the world in a way that actually supports and motivates us, then we can find more happiness and success in whatever, and all that, we do.

A more drastic situation could be dealing with the death of a loved one. We could see it as the end of everything we’ve ever known… or we could see it as an absolute blessing that we were able to meet and enjoy their soul in the physical world and are grateful for the love they showed and continue to show us.

Ever hear the quote- “it is what it is” well I’d like to piggy back off that and say “it just is”. That’s it. We have the power to define what exactly situations mean to us and that dictates the energy we attract and the happiness, or lack of, we feel.

What situation could you look at a little differently that would completely change your energy and quality of life?

I’d like to end with a favorite quote of mine: “Day by day, in every way, I am getting better and better!”

How can we cope positively with our anxiety?

Of course we get a overwhelmed sometimes…

And sometimes we aren’t 100% present…

Off thinking about the past or future.

Belly breaths

Anytime you feel anxiety or frustration coming up…

Use it as a signal that you need to stop and take some deep belly breaths.

4 counts in. Hold.

4 counts out. Hold.

Aim to do at least 5 deep belly breaths.

Repeat these counts until you are feeling better.

Slow down

Take 5-10 minutes to open a window and journal out your emotions…

Or take a walk / spend time in nature to clear your mind.

Move

Whether you are indoors or outdoors…

Putting your arms and legs in positions they aren’t normally in throughout the day will increase your blood flow…

Which in turn increases your energy.

With more energy, you’ll be able to work through emotions more effectively.

Eat healthy foods & hydrate

Work on eating small bits of fruit and vegetables throughout the day to keep your body fueled.

Again, this produces more energy for you.

Of course drink lots of water to stay hydrated.

When we take care of our basic need of clean fuel…

We gain more energy and more opportunity to work on our emotional needs.

Connect with family and friends

Reach out to those around you to see who can hold space for a little while…

Text / call / facetime whatever you need to feel connected.

Pray & meditate

A regular spiritual practice can help to relieve any and all anxiety.

I have first hand experience that prayer power truly does work wonders.

A few minutes a day goes a long way to calming your nerves and worries.

I believe prayer and mediation are an essential part of healing your mind, body & soul.

Self care

What you could use right now?

Maybe a hot shower and face mask…

Or a yoga session and some deep breathing…

Or a sun bath and a nature walk?

Practice taking in consideration your own needs and how you can incorporate more YOU time into your day.

I’m here for anyone needing to work through their thoughts and emotions.

We are in this together.

Faith: free social graphics

Faith is a state of mind.

It may be induced, or created, by affirmation or repeated instructions to the subconscious mind.

All through the ages, religious leaders have struggled with humanity to “have faith” but they’ve failed to teach people how to have faith.

They haven’t made it clear that faith is a state of mind and that it may be induced by self-suggestion.

Each of us is what we are because of the dominating thoughts we permit to occupy our minds.

Thoughts deliberately placed in our mind + emotion = motivating forces that direct and control our every moment, act and deed!

Throw off the influences of any unfortunate environment and commit to building your own life to order.

By taking an inventory of mental assets and liabilities, you will discover your greatest weakness is lack of self-confidence.

This handicap can be surmounted and translated into courage through the aid of self-suggestion.

This application may be made through a simple arrangement of positive thought impulses stated in writing, memorized and repeated, until they have become a part of the working equipment of your subconscious mind.

Below I’ve created a few graphics that include some of the most powerful words I have come across.

They are purely light in the darkness and I hope they bring as much confidence and comfort to you as they do for me.

Save your favorite graphics and…
1. Share them with a friend
2. Set one as your wallpaper
3. And create an album you can look back on when you’re feeling low
