Goals

Take some time off

From work and from your regular routine.

You work hard when you work. That’s easy.

But to balance life out, you gotta play hard too – with good intentions.

How can we use time off to make sure we are growing our mind, body, and soul?

We can use our time off to…

  • decompress
  • ponder
  • read a good book
  • travel / explore
  • spend time with loved ones
  • plan goals
  • create something
  • declutter

How do you like to use your time off?

I’m currently on a road trip (3 days in). I took 3 weeks off from work and am taking full advantage.

There’s a 200 mile race happening in Ohio right now that Joey is running and I’m here crewing to help keep the runners going. A twofer.

Fun stuff getting out of my comfort zone 🙂

Goals

What does it mean to know yourself?

In the left hand, we have love and peace.

In the right hand, we have pain and hurt.

Both sides are within us.

To know yourself is to know that the feelings of pain and hurt are within you as well as the feelings of love and peace.

To know yourself is to no longer get surprised when feelings of anger or sadness come up…

They’re actually expected to surface now and then, in fact anticipated.

To know yourself is to know how to attract positive energy back into your life when you are experiencing negative thoughts and feelings.

When you feel anger boil up – maybe someone’s driving slow on the road for example – are we letting the feeling of anger take over? Or are we taking a breather and letting it go?

Simply knowing both the pain and the peace are within you may give you a sense of relief.

You’re no longer fighting against the current…

You’re flowing with the tide.

Goals

Motivation lighthouse

Lighthouse: a tower or other structure containing a beacon light to warn or guide ships at sea.

Lighthouse to ship as goal to me.

My goals act as a beacon light, guiding me along my way through life.

When I am faced with hard decisions or situations…

My goals are there to warn me of the risks of going in the wrong direction.

Motivation lighthouse. My guiding goals.

Goals

Being uncomfortable is how we grow

Ever make a mistake?

You now know what not to do next time. Growth.

Ever go somewhere new and was a little nervous?

I bet it turned out to be a good time and maybe you even learned some things. Growth.

Ever have to stand up in front of people and speak?

You spoke and felt stronger after.

Or you didn’t speak and you learned something about yourself. Growth.

Ever set a goal for yourself and wasn’t sure if you’d actually get it done?

You did what you needed – even if your mind screamed against it – and achieved the impossible. Growth.

Do you feel uncomfortable reading these?

Do you feel and see the growth?

Goals

Overwhelmed? Keep a notebook

Racing thoughts? Need to organize your ideas? Keep a notebook, divide it into sections, and write it all out.

You can use your notebook to…

  • make lists
  • write out your daily powerlist
  • manifest your desires
  • dump your thoughts
  • create a new life or perceptive

Carry your notebook wherever you go…

Or use Google Keep to take notes while you’re on the road.

All of the greats have kept some sort of notebook, why not give it a try too?!

Goals

Want glowy skin? Try a morning face mask

Nothing like some self love & a face mask ♡

I’m obsessed with this peel off charcoal mask I got from Amazon recently.

I’ve added it to my routine: 2-3 times a week (usually in the morning because instant glow).

It takes about 15 minutes for the mask to dry so in the meantime I’m…

Drinking a hot cup of tea.

Listening to morning music.

Reading a few pages of a non fiction book.

Breathing in fresh air.

And moving my body.

~ about 15 minutes passes ~

I peel the mask off, give my face a nice wash, and go about my day feeling all types of glowy.

✿ Let’s keep working to incorporate more of what we love into our day!

Feel good, do good, be good.
